CONTAX Presents at ASUG Supply Chain & Procurement Conference
by Michael Johnson
Hundreds of SAP users from across the country converged on Chicago to attend ASUGís annual Supply Chain & Procurement conference.
On Halloween, the spookiest of days, hundreds of SAP users from across the country converged on Chicago to attend ASUGís annual Supply Chain & Procurement conference. Instead of tricks or treats people took part in presentations, round-table discussions, and informative sessions focusing on how companies leverage SAPís Supply Chain and Procurement. This event gave attendees the opportunity to work with peers to see how other companies leverage SAP within their organizations. It also allowed companies to peer into the future to understand how SAP tools will be used to facilitate their Supply Chain.
One such opportunity was a presentation by CONTAX and UPS showing how SAP Cloud Platform is leveraged to enhance the SAP Supply Chain solutions.
CONTAXís Managing Director Nathan Baes showed audience members the robust capabilities of using SAP CP to leverage easily deployable cloud tools to gain insight into your supply chain through real-time robust analytics, to provide standardized integration points for shipping through carriers like UPS, FedEx, etc, and easily handle compliance and document filings, just to name a few of the tools discussed. All this from the cloud, deployed rapidly with very little effort.
Nathanís presentation bridged the gap between today and the future, by showing what future SCP technology is already being used by companies today. This included a live demo and a lively and interactive Q&A.
The presentation content is available on ASUGís website and the ASUG Events app. For more information call Nathan at 312-475-9706 or shoot him an email at Nathan.Baes@contax.com.
